Be Still

Hell Ladies,

I am so glad that you have joined me today to be encouraged to “Be Still and Know that He is God.”  This is what Psalm 46:10 encourages us to do.

What does it mean to be still?  It means to:

  • Stop your body from moving.
  • Stop you mind and get our thoughts together.
  • Stop your soul from spinning our of control.
  • Stop listening to everyone and everything around you.

And Know:

  • Know that God is your refuge. (Ps. 46:1)
  • Know that God is your strength. (Ps. 46:1)
  • Know that God is present.  He is there for you right now. (Ps. 46:1)
  • Know that God is there for you in your time of trouble. (Ps. 46:1)
  • Know that you do not need to fear. (Ps. 46:2)

Come, join me and be encouraged!

Clear Vision

Hello Ladies!

It has been a while and I am so glad to be back with you this year, 2020.  Last year a phrase I kept in mind was, Be Intentional.  This year’s phrase is, you guessed it, Have Clear Vision.

Today I want to encourage you to have Clear Vision in 2020.  How can you have clear vision?  I believe that you can gain clear or 20/20 vision by taking time to be still, be in prayer and be in God’s Word.  Psalm 119:105 days, your word is a lamp to my feet and light to my path.  God wants to light your path and give you clear vision.

I am going to share with you 3 things you can do to encourage yourself to be still, pray and be in God’s word to gain clear vision, 20/20 vision, in 2020!

Enjoy my talk-able and be encouraged to have Clear Vision in 2020!

“Glory to God in the Highest!”

Merry Christmas to You!

Glory-to-God_smallI am so glad that you have joined me today.  What traditions do you carry out during the Christmas season?  My husband and I watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” every year.  We love it because it tells the message of Christmas so simply and clearly.

When Charles Schulz was asked by the producer and animator for the TV Peanut Christmas Special, who were his friends, if he was sure he wanted to have the “religious” message in “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, his reply was, “If we don’t do it, who will?”

What an answer!  This Christmas season ladies, If we don’t show Jesus in our actions, relationships, and celebrations, who will?

May you enjoy this weeks “talk-able” and may you be encouraged to take some time to read Luke 2:1-20.  Luke captures the Christmas story in such an awesome way by telling about the shepherds and the angels that appeared in the night sky.  What a site that must have been!

With Thanksgiving

Welcome to Talk-able Tuesday!

With-Thanksgiving-pic-small

This week we are looking at Phil. 4:6.

It says:

“Be Anxious for Nothing, But in Everything by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the PEACE of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS.”

I love this verse.  It is so full of great advice.  Let’s dig in!

Here is the link to your Printable this week!  Click Here and let’s make our requests known to God by taking them to Him in Prayer and then allow the PEACE of GOD to guard your heart and mind.

May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I will see you on Dec 10th for my next Talk-able!

Blessings, Krista

Let’s Rock!

Hello Ladies,

I want to encourage you to build your life, your day, your moments on the Rock and that Rock is Jesus!  Enjoy this weeks “Talk-able”

You can do this!  You can build your life (house) on the Rock and you can start to do this by spending at least 5 minutes a day in the word and praying for God to give you wisdom in your day to day happenings.  And when you do this, it is amazing how life gets in focus.

If you need a place to start to read the Bible,  I encourage you to start in Matthew chapter 5 and read through Matthew chapter 7.  These chapters are full of Jesus’ teachings on how to live your life and when we start to do these things our life is then full of Him and He fills us with what we need.
