Joy to the world!

Hello Ladies,

Joy to the World FinalMerry Christmas!

I want to give you a little gift to print off.  Your Christmas print-able says “Joy to the World” and I want to tell you that…

I fixed my Joy!

For those who did not listen to my podcast this week, titled: Bethlehem, Everyone wants to go there, this is the “Joy” sign I bought at my local Dollar Store and talked about in my podcast.

1221212044I love this sign!

Soon after hanging it on my pantry door I found that the extra flourish on the “J” was broken off.  With it broken the “J” was not as big, pronounced and outstanding as it once was.  In my podcast, I stated that I was going to fix that “J”.  And well… I did!

1221211936aHave any of you had your JOY broken?  I want to tell you the truth.  Sometimes we have our Joy fixed by the Lord and all is right again.  Other times we have our Joy fixed and we know in our hearts the Joy of the Lord and we know in our hearts and minds who is in control, we know where our eternal home is, we are so grateful for Jesus and his gift of salvation, but we still have to endure some situations in this world until the Lord’s timing is reached for them to change and/or be gone and this can take a long time of enduring on our part.

This is what is known as having Joy amidst the storms of life.

I am encouraging you, do not let your circumstances take or break your Joy.

If this is where you are this Christmas ladies, sing your heart out with this hymn:  This well known, popular hymn is about Jesus’ return!

  • Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
    Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare him room,
    And heaven and nature sing,
  • Joy to the world! the Savior reigns;
    Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
    Repeat the sounding joy,
  • No more let sins and sorrows grow,
    Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
  • He rules the world with truth and grace,
    And makes the nations prove
    The glories of His righteousness,
    And wonders of His love.

May you have JOY this Christmas and may you have JOY this coming year amidst the calm and amidst the storms of life.  Let your Joy be big, pronounced and outstanding once again!

I want to encourage you to print off my print-able, Joy to the World and be reminded, Jesus is coming back to set all things right!  So, we can have JOY amidst our life.

Be THANK-filled!

Hello Ladies!

2021 Thankful printable_20211120_0001I am so glad to be with you today after a little break.

I have been working on my Color, Cut and Create Coloring book titled JOURNEY TO JESUS.  To make a long story short, I am shooting for a Spring of 2022  launch.  If you would like to hear more about my journey you can listen to my podcast for today and also….

Today on my podcast we are looking into what God says about being THANK-filled.

  • When we are filled with thankfulness, it chases away so many things.
    • It chases away:
      • fear, worry, anxiety, impulsivity, doubt, depression, and feelings of lack.
      • Why?
        • Because we are no longer focused on ourselves, but on God and all that He wants for us, all that He has done for us, and all that He will do for us. Our eyes are turned outward and upward. Amen.

I have a print-able for you today that I want to encourage you to print off, pin up, hang up to be reminded of God’s word and all that God wants for you in this life and the life to come!  The link is below.

So, Ladies, Let’s be thank-filled!

May you have a blessed and thank-filled Thanksgiving.

Breathe – Rest

Hello Ladies,
Welcome to Talk-able Tuesday!  I am so glad you are here.
Rest-Colorable-InstagramHave you taken a breath this last week?  I did and let me tell you it was so nice to be able to not have anything on my “list”.

At the beginning of the week I decided to set aside Saturday as a day to be able to do “whatever”, to rest.  Up here in Idaho it ended up being a rainy day and so with our wood stove warming the house, I was able to have a cup of coffee with my husband, play a game with my son and husband (I did not do very well at Scrabble by the way), take a nap, practice some hand lettering, and have time to write down a craft Idea that has been in my head for a while.  And you know what?  By the end of the day I was feeling refreshed, relaxed, and at peace, even amidst the storms of life.  I made no plans for the day and just let it unfold.

When Sunday and Monday rolled around, I was emotionally, physically, and spiritually ready to go for the week.

Did you know that God did this? He Worked, created, and was busy for 6 days and then on the 7th day He created rest, the Sabbath.  He told us to remember this and to do as He did.  God knew and knows we need a Sabbath, a day of rest.

  • Exodus 20: 8-11 says: Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.  For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
I want to encourage you this week to put in times of Sabbath, times of rest.  When you do, you will feel refreshed, renewed, and have a clear mind that is ready to be able to make Godly decisions throughout your week.

My print-able this week is a color-able to remind you to rest.  Please print it off and be encouraged with God’s word.

May you have a great week and remember to r-e-s-t.
Blessings, Krista

Breathe: Trust, Rest, and Wait

Hello Ladies,
It’s talk-able Tuesday!
a-Breathe-jpeg.Have you ever had a bible verse come back into your mind over and over again?… And if this has happened to you what should you do about it?

Ever since I wrote about and hand-lettered the verse 2 Chronicles 7:14, it has kept coming back into my mind.  And in order to understand why this is coming into my mind over and over:
  • I have needed to take a breath, a pause, pray, and read God’s word.
  • I have needed to take time to Breathe.
  • As, I have been taking a breathe, I thought to myself, I am probably not the only one who needs to do this.
So, this month I want to focus in God’s word about what He says in regards to taking moments to breathe…to pause…to rest.
  • When we do this what can happen?
  • When we do not do this what can happen?
I want to invite you to join me on my podcast where I am sharing my thoughts about taking a moment to BREATHE and why it is so important to do this especially TODAY!

Just click the link below to join me on my podcast!

Breathe-Bookmark-FinalAnd your print-able links are below as well and also in the description of my podcast.  May you print these off and pin them up and be reminded to BREATHE 🙂  And make the bookmarks to use and give away to also remind you and a friend to BREATHE 🙂

See you on my podcast!

Blessings, Krista

Just a note:  The verse that has been coming into my mind again and again is 2 Chronicles 7:14 and it says:  if My people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Humility – Week 7: Be Humble, Pray, & Seek Him

Hello Ladies it’s Talk-able Tuesday!
If you Humble yourself, Pray, Seek the Lord and turn from your wicked, sinful, ways, THE LORD WILL HEAR YOU, FORGIVE YOU, AND HEAL YOUR LAND.
Humility-Week-7-small
Do you believe this?!?

It is amazing what humility will do for you, your family, your relationships and even your country!

Ladies does this make you want to be on your knees daily to come before the Lord in humility to repent, pray and seek His face?

Let’s take a moment and look at 2 Chronicles 7:14 – The Lord is speaking here to Solomon and He says:  if My people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Now let’s look at our questions:

  • Am I humble?
    • Are you humble?
    • When you are humble you will be driven to turn from your wicked, sinful ways.
  • What does being humble look like?
    • Being humble is coming before the Lord in prayer and seeking His face
    • and asking Him to forgive your sins and then you STOP doing the sinful things in your life.
  • Why does God tell us, tell you, to be humble?
    • In this verse God tells us to be humble, pray, and seek His face and stop our wicked, sinful ways so we can be forgiven and healing can begin.
  • And… How would the world look if we did this one thing: Be Humble?
    • If we were ALL humble and in our humility we prayed and sought the Lord and asked Him to forgive all the sinful things we did and then we stopped our wicked ways, God would be able to hear us (because our sin would not be blocking our communication) and He would forgive us and then…ready?…this is incredible!…GOD WOULD HEAL OUR LAND!
So, what are we waiting for?  Let’s do this ourselves and then let’s encourage every Believer in Christ Jesus to do the same and then the Lord could heal our land!

Just a thought:  Do you think that in the past Christians have done just these things and God’s judgement has been held back in America?  I would love to know your thoughts on this.  Please comment below so we all can be involved in this conversation.

Talk to you soon and please print off your print-able to be reminded to be HUMBLE, Pray, Seek the Lord, and turn from your sinful ways and then watch the Lord move.  Links are below 🙂

Blessings, Krista

Humility – Week 6: Humility is Fear of the Lord

Hello Ladies,
It’s talk-able Tuesday.  Let’s look into God’s word.  You and your soul will LOVE it!
Humility Week 6 Humility is fearCan you believe it?  We are on week 6 of looking into God’s word to read about what He says about HUMILITY.

Let’s take a moment to evaluate ourselves in this area of Humility.

  • How are you doing in regards to having humility in your life?
  • Have you needed to make some adjustments on:
    • how you do things,
    • how you approach situations or
    • how you relate to people?
Humility is not an easy characteristic to obtain.  I have found that the more I “let go and let God” change me the more I am able to have an attitude of humility.  Just admitting to the Lord that you are not able to be humble on your own opens your soul to hear His promptings when different situations arise that require humility.

OK, let’s look take a look at Proverbs 22:4 and answer the questions we have been asking ourselves these past five weeks.  Proverbs 22:4 says:  Humility is the fear of the Lord: it’s wages are riches and honor and life.

  • Am I humble?
    • Are you humble?  When you are humble, it’s wages or payment to us are riches, honor and life.
  • What does being humble look like?
    • First humility is the fear of the Lord.  Are you willing to come under the Lord and accept Jesus as your savior and then come under the Lord’s statues and guidelines to living because you know that when you do you will be with the Lord forever and He will be with you in this present life.
  • Why does God tell us, tell you, to be humble?
    • In this proverb it tells you that humility is the fear of the Lord and when you have humility you will then have riches, honor and life.
    • Riches, honor and life can mean: riches in God’s grace, honor from the Lord and life meaning life eternal.
  • And… How would the world look if we did this one thing: Be Humble?
    • If we all had humility we would fear the Lord who is the giver of riches, His grace, the giver of honor, and the giver of life eternal.
    • We would recognize the without the Lord we would have nothing and that with he Lord we would have everything!  We would be concentrating on pleasing God and not ourselves.  Selfishness would be nonexistent and with everyone being self-less basic needs would be met for everyone.  How heavenly in that. 🙂
Ladies, may you gain a healthy fear of the Lord.  He wants to bless you with His riches, honor and life!

May you print off your print-able to remind you that Humility is fear of the Lord and it’s wages are riches, honor and life.

Have a super week and see you next week!

Blessings, Krista
