A little update…

I am 2-3 weeks away from having my Journey to Jesus Color, Cut and Create Coloring book ready for sale!  This has been such a wonderful, growing, and fun experience.

My prayer has and still is the the Lord will be glorified and that many will come to know Jesus and/or be encouraged to continue to seek Jesus and put Him first in their lives.

Jesus is all we need.

Do you want to REALLY live?

Hello Ladies,

How has your week been?
Have you been following the Good Shepherd, Jesus?

I am the resurrection_20220206_0002You know, there is no one else I want to follow.  And when we follow and believe Jesus, we will have life everlasting.  Why?  Because he is the resurrection and the life.

What peace we can have when we really let that sink in.  No reason to fear, worry, or fret.  We are going to be with Jesus in heaven forever.  Our lives are but a moment in time compared to eternity.  Now that is REALLY Living!

This week’s print-able is taken from John 11:25, which is where we can read what Jesus was telling Mary at the time of her brother, Lazarus’ death.  It says, Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me shall not die.”

May you have a peace-filled week

Instagram good shepherd picAs I was reading this verse from John 10:11, I was so encouraged.  I have read this verse many times, and as I was reading it again, I was reminded right when I needed it, which is what God does with His living word, that He is my good shepherd.

He is your Good Shepherd too:

  • who tends to you,
  • herds you to himself,
  • feeds you, and
  • guards you from the wolves in this world.

Did you know you are a branch?

Hello Ladies,

It is talk-able Tuesday.  Here is where you will find encouraging talks from the word and have a print-able made by myself for you to print off and be encouraged with God’s word.

Let’s get started.  You and Your soul are going to love it!

I am the vine_printable pjgJesus said, “I am the vine and you are the branches.  He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.”

This verse is such a great word picture!

Just before this verse in John 1:1 Jesus says, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser.”

  • What is a vinedresser?
    • This is an agricultural specialist who knows how to propagate, plant, prune, and tend grape vines
    • whose goal is to optimize the quality and abundance of the grapes.
  • What a great way to picture God in relation to his son and in relation to us.
    • Jesus is the vine and
    • from the vine the branches (remember you are the branches) grow and
    • from the branches the fruit is produced.

So, to summarize:

  • God, as the vinedresser, knows that Jesus His son is the vine, the giver of life and all of us who accept Jesus as our savior are the branches that can grow from the vine, Jesus.
  • God, the great vinedresser, knows that through His son life is propagated and many branches will grow from the vine, His son, and as the vinedresser He prunes and tends to you, so that you will produce abundant, excellent tasting fruit.  In other words, you will produce a life that points others to Jesus, the vine, the giver of life.

As you go through your week, remember you are a branch that is attached to the vine and without the vine you can do nothing, and this vine gives you life.

May you allow God to prune and tend to you so that your Life will produce fruit that is abundant!

I want to encourage you to print off this week’s print-able to be reminded that Jesus is the vine, and you are the branch!

Come…and…Rest

Hello Ladies!

This week for talk-able Tuesday, I have a print-able for you and it is right from the mouth of Jesus!

Come to me all who are heavy_20220118_0002Last week I talked about the “Key” to 2022 being Jesus.

And since he is the “key” to everything, I hand lettered a quote from Jesus himself for you to print off and be encouraged with God’s word.

In Matthew 11:28 it says:

  • Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

Are you working and feel it is vain or have a heavy burden?

Let’s keep reading in Matthew 11 verses 29-30  

  • 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
  • 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 

Jesus wants you to learn from him and put his yoke on and not the worlds.  He says his yoke is easy and his burden is light.

I want to encourage you today to lay your worldly things, your work, your burdens down and ask Jesus to take them and then take up his yoke and keep your eyes on the prize, which is life everlasting with him.

It seems when we open up our perspective in regards to eternity, our life here does not seem as heavy.  We are here for bu t a moment in relations to eternity.

May you keep Jesus close, his word in your mind, and your eyes on eternity.
